The one by STR.
gee, NONE of them are correct. str is closest. cant the artist just look at my diagrams to get heights and widths of each tier and then they will have it. it shouldnt be allowed to post incorrect diagrams.gives the public a false idea of the tower.

When it's really 643.3 m high now, it should be the 9th steel level. The top of the steel beam would be tier 19.

Those picture came from this thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=606723

If you want to talk about them go to that thread, last i checked this thread was about the Burj Dubai, so let's talk about that instead.

ooh look actually if you read the title it says Burj Dubai, maybe that should be an indication of what the conversation topic should be!!!

Beyond 1000;

I just read somewhere that the obs deck planned for the SWFC is going to be the highest obs deck in the world that will be accessable to the public.

Can you or someone else help verify this as well?

it is official that the BD will have its OB-deck at 442m, and it is official that the SWFC will have one at 470m. what's so difficult to understand?

The point that I was trying to make, if you haven't already figured it out, is that the one for the SWFC is higher - making it the highest one in the world to date. Jeez!

That's why I said "a better one" and not "a correct one"

Well you asked for verification about a fact we have known for 3 years or more. And yes of course he had figured out your point, as most people on this planet we can all compare two numbers and decide which is biggest.

Jeez, but the SWFC is indoors only, so if the CEO of EMAAR invites a few friends to his office then BD takes the record.....jeez.

Hi all.

Hey guys the column up in OTR's pic is the first column of the second (middle) section of tier 18 (the 8th steel section) and the top is 636.9 m.

1 more section to finish tier 18 then when the first column of tier 19 is up we will have the tallest manmade structure in history.
