I know it's more complicated than this but for concrete you pour and then let it dry. As for steel you have to put all these pieces together and make sure everything is put together correctly before you move up. That's why I think the steel is taking longer than concrete. With concrete you've got everything you need once you pour it into the mold.

The discussion came up about who has the highest obs deck, and I posted buldings that have and had indoor and outdoor ones. It won't happen again.

Hi all.

Nice shots Altin. The fact they are from far away makes the shots of the top less angled - not so looking up at a high angle.

The shot really shows the mezzanine levels of 158 and 160 very well. Also level 159 and 160 mezz. 3 terraces. kinda looks like they are starting another jump hoist beside the covered temp stairway too from 159 terrace.

Thanks again for the pics Altin.

The photo in #6181

Does anyone know how wide is the building at this height? Based on a rule of thumb of 4 meters per floor, it looks like about 15 meters diameter, but it's a bit hard to estimate without direct reference objects whose size is known with certainty.

Not only that but it would probably take about half an hour to winch each piece of steel up with a crane at that height.

He ran away from the waterfront and decided to settle down beside the Dubai Marina. He is now being taken care of as far as i know.
