Jus can't wait until the skin of the tower covers the whole structure. Especially on the top (steel) part of the tower, the slenderness and the spire itself would look really stunning

I am almost positive that there is someone, if not emaar it self, maybe someone on this forum that has been and is making the worlds most spectacular stopmotion flick of the making of this tower, we have allready seen a god one and these guys will make it to the end

Hi all.

Thanks for the update OTR. Wow - the first section of tier 19 is really moving along.There is a setback / terrace on the North side ( the opposite side of the structure in OTR's shot ) of the section being built that is already becoming evident by the look of the progress. The next set of 3 terraces has a smaller wing facing the same direction for the first time since the main wings. These smaller wings will become terraces themselves further up the structure.

Here is a print showing the start of tier 19. The 5 vertical lines are 4.5 m. apart - the same gridsize used in most prints.

What's spire jacking stage?

It's shown on some diagram and it's located between 9th and 10th steel floor meaning it should be there or should be close to being there...

The tower should start to sway more and more with progressive cladding. Before, the wind could just power straight through the naked tower.

They're nearly finishing off the 10th steel floor. This is the floor that made the structure become the tallest THING ever made by mankind
