i already know that and it isnt bad news...

Al Burj and Burj Dubai are both kings off construction...

Al Burj is the sheiks plan to rape and strip a country who wants the WTB so it isnt forming a risk to the BD.

Cheers

Not quite sure but it looked from a distance that the cranes had their height jacked up again today.

Wow, that view is quite impressive.

Why build the Burj Dubai and then beat your own record? It just doesn't make sense...why not just make the Burj Dubai 1000+ meters? But you can't do that now.

Oh wait, sorry the Sheik shouldn't build either because, I forgot, it's his duty to feed all of Africa. (btw that was sarcasm)

i think some ppl are just jealous that dubai is getting way too rich for their liking. did anybody point any fingers all this while when europe north america develped countries mostly had too much wealth and africa and asia etc developing countries too little wealth? NO!
dubai never colonized africans they dont have the same responsibility towards africans that europeans north americans etc should have (north americans took african slaves involuntarily).

also dubai's investments in africa are noteworthy probably surpassing many similar sized developed countries' investments. all this while before china started tradiing with africa big, usa mostly ignored africa.

^lev156/586m

its not sad about a tower being built higher then Burj Dubai. but i dodnt hink al burj or what ever will look as good as Burj Dubai. Its a superior design.plus we are lucky to see somehting this tall already. it took many years to slowly surpass sears and petronas and finally Taipei101, but all these are aroud 500m high not 800m, so Burj Dubai will always be famous for being such a ground breaking skyscraper. not only tallest building, but tallest man made object.
lets just talk about Burj dubai and not whats going to be built higher or the starving in Africa. theres threads for that.
cheers

I still hoping for a close 900m height.

Anyway before the end of this year BD should be able to hit 624m right?

^why? ive seen final spire plan dated only 1 month ago and its definately going to be 819m or 835m above slab.
will start to look out of proportion if it goes any higher.
there already 300m higher then tallest building or 200m higher then tallest structure.
