I've never thought about that, but you have point there! Hopefully it'll look better when the spire reaches its fully length and stretches the whole tower up to the sky.

As a designer I prefer fully closed horizontal lines on the cladding around every floor, rather than open ended vertical lines ending at each setback. It would over emphasize the setbacks and the tower would lose it's classy feel. I think the cladding is just perfect.

Plus, each horizontal line represents every single floor slab, so it has an architectural purpose and meaning. Making something look like the way it really is, is a better design philosophy.
