Not talking about BD, but Dubai has proportionally really thin towers. (even the ones not built yet)

awsome pic.

i dont want to sound repedative, what is the climate like year round? is it hot and dry, or is there a rainy season?
in looking at all the pics it appears to be a dry climate year round. ive never seen a cloud or rainy picture.

Dubai has a hot and, at times, humid climate (drier during extreme heat) with many months recording temperatures of over 40 °C (104 °F) (refer to accompanying table for recorded mean minimum and maximum temperatures during the year). Rainfall is generally light, with a mean of about 150 millimetres (6 in) per year; precipitation is usually centered around January, February and March. However, heavy rain is not uncommon in Dubai during the winter months and January 2008 saw a record of 120mm (or 5") of rain falling in just 24 hours, [33] The mean humidity in Dubai is about 60% and is higher during the cooler winter months.

Just go it from website.

it will be topped out before the end of 2008. most of the steel-structure is done already, and still 5 months...so where is the problem?

Taking a decent photo of this tower is very tricky.

If U shoot within close range, you'll get to see all the details (like the glass cladding and stuff), but the gargantuan scale of the building will be loss.

By the time U are far enough to get the entire length of the building (from ground floor to the top), the tower will be reduced to nothing more than a shiny silhouette.

Im sure that it will be topped out before the end of 2008. Around late November - early December id say.

I have a 12MP camera. Taking pictures with that wouldn't be a problem: highly detailed and the scale isn't reduced.

One problem: I'm in Belgium.
