Nah, just stainless steel tubes for decorative purposes. The black things over most of them are just laces to keep in place the protective foil, the tubes come rolled in.

I really love this tower. Once I will go visit it :-)

Will it be open for public at the top of tower?

No. There's an observation deck at floor 124.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure I like these horizontal tubes.

Are there any renderings or models that are accurate and detailed enough to show the tubes? I've search and haven't found any. Here are a couple large ones - no tubes:

Granted, these are probably out of date.

Will the tubes be on all the mechanical floors? Will they wrap around the entire building, or just be near the tips of the wings?

State of Skyscrapers

I enjoyed this video. I remember clearly how the death of the skyscraper (and how it could fit into the future plans of all urban centers) after 9/11. I am so glad to see that we have gone past this paranoia and fear.

The current age of skyscraper development is just amazing. I can't wait to see the current slew of projects when they are fully completed.

I guess that is about right, the structure is 800 milions, but you don't build a 800m building to fill-it with patio furniture.
