CONCRETE COMPLETE

If you look at Imres pic from yesterday, one thing is missing.

The concrete placing boom is now removed from the top so no more concrete.

Burj reflections.

ZZ, yep thats the end of that phase, but I guess with strikes and steel shipment delays we wont see much height activity for a while.

Theres a few construction compounds being put up today, but still steel is missing.

Are you sure it's removed? I only see this in Imre's first set of photos due to the angle that they were taken. The pump may have also been folded up and at a relatively low height so it couldn't have been seen above the formwork. If you look at all his three other sets taken on Nov. 8th, you can still easily see the pump though.

Either it's still there or it was just removed today (you can't see it in the Nov. 9th shot of BD with the other three lake photo thumbnails). Sorry for sounding contrary to the above posts but I'm sure we'll see soon enough whether it is infact gone for good and this signals the topping out of the concreting.

I have been around the Burj today and viewed from every angle. Its 100% gone. I can post some pics taken of the top?????

For whaterever reason also the finishing at the top concrete face looks a lot more square edged when viewed through the zoom looking 100% finished.

The concrete placement boom can normally be seen from a considerable distance and in particular from the angles taken in the photos below.

All pics taken today.

ITS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curious to see it without the formwork! Finally a clear view of how it's looking and how steel will follow, interesting!

Cladding to start soon above the 3rd mech floors. Rails below the 4th mech floors are visible on the last pic by Old Town Resident. Glass goes up fast above the 2nd mechanicals but slow below 1st mechanicals. Why? Maybe the are just planning to finish it together.
