Documentary (part2) on Mr Al Abbar CEO Emaar. Nov 07, but still good to watch. Especially the end bit where he's talking about the deal with Mr Armani:

Sorry about that because it is too very large photo.

Look at the 4th mechanical floor, still cladding.

Looks like constructing the new floor goes quite quickly!

thanx Denniss, OMG the 18th steel floor is already ready, next floor must be very thin and incredible, and very near seeing parts of the spire lifted, later on...

I think this part of construction is even more interesting than watching the forms soar upward months and months ago.

The trouble with making things great enough to see from space is you end up with a limited audience......from space ?

What a tall building it is. Can this structure be seen from outer space.

cddinLens should clean the sensor of his camera before shoot. Though the pictures are pretty good already.

BTW.... BD is unbeatable today and so long to the future

Thanks Javier for those great shots .

With such a discerning edge though on the one taken with the more wide-angle lens, I went and fixed the angle. Enjoy.

WOW, incredible photo! I wasn't sure at first, but now I think I'm going to really like the nine horizontal tubes being installed over the first set of mechanical floors. Just hope they will wrap all the way around and will be on all the mech. floors. In fact, it would be super if they had one tube between each regular floor. Then again, that could possibly look too "busy". I can't wait to see how the window cleaning equipment will pass across the tubes, given that the vertical tubes (fins) are suppose to act as rails for it.
