In my city of origine they have put a limit of 85 meters ... I think a couple of new buildings reached that already.

I think that the second crane is starting dismantling? It doesn't grow anymore with the tower, so I think it's getting lowered.

Its still high enough to lift pieces of the spire. I think it will still stay up there for some time.

Are you sure that the notes are correct? Because you start with level 156 and to level 160. So that must be 4 levels in between. But when I count the levels on the picture itself, I count at least 7 floors....

Hi Cul.

The Ground level is that high but the raft is 3.75 m. below the DMD or 2.75 m. below sea level. That is of course putting the DMD 1 m. above sea level. I still can't find where I read that and I had no luck with a google search. Anyone else know where the DMD is compared to sea level ?

Hi Dequal.

Am I sure my notes are correct .......

The steel section of the structure has cladding that looks like 2 - 3.2 m. parts to cover each 6.4 m. level. Look to the right of the cladding and you will see the actual steel levels.

There is 4 steel levels that are 3.2 m. - those are ; 158, 158 mezz, 160 mezz 1, and 160 mezz 2.

Above those all the tiers (up to tier 23) have 3 sections that are 6.4 m - so 19.2 m. total.

Tiers 24, 25, and 26 have 3 sections that are 3.2 m. each - 9.6 m. total.

To sum up - the steel section from start (tier 16) to tier 26 will have cladding that makes it look like it is all 3.2 m. levels but it is actually 6.4 m. levels/sections (mostly). Tiers 27 to 30 are the circular pinnacle.

Is it possible that Sky Tower said the thing about DMD being 1 meter above sea level?

That is entirely possible.

I would like a link to some official info though - I will keep looking around.

Now I am interested to know.

Anyone out there know for sure ? - please provide a source.
