that gap in cladding between the second and third mech floors bugs me terribly.

That pic also shows a lot of buildings surrounding the BD. Quite a bit of density to it. Very nice. 3+ years ago that was nothing but desert. Amazing progress.

The gap went from the bottom up to just above the crane at level 99. There was 2 double external lifts there. They have filled in a bunch of it fairly quickly. The rest will be filled in before we know it.

Is it possible to have you guys make photos of Burj when they are hoisting up parts to the top????

Maybe we can see parts of the spire BEFORE they are hidden inside????

I'm here for my study, Construction Techology (TU/e), doing a traineeship at a small local construction company. That's also where the addiction for skyscrapers comes from Until December I'm working here, and taking some pictures ofcourse!

as probably answered many many many times ago, the tower should top out in december 2008 and be finalized (interiors and so) in late summer 2009.
