When are the first passenger elevators going to be installed?

Is it possible that they could have the lobby (on each side) done already?

Great shots DennisS!

But is it me or did they already start with the next level (so +/- 714 meters) without finishing the previous one?

That's what I was thinking. I think they are giving the guys up there loads of steel and spire to weld while the crane is being used to take down the other crane.

How do you think the personel goes up and down the tower, now that outside elevators are gone?

Has the pace of construction slowed down at all, because of Ramadan? Or are the workers still working the same hours?

Too much condos, how many population ???

Somebody has the information of how many condos, villas, houses, etc are in construction right now in dubai and in the next 2 years (2010) hoy many population has dubai, I know most of the owners are foreing but is not soooooo much apartments in construction, i think many apartments/condos in tall/small buildings, villas and houses in the sea (palms) or inside earth are empty or not sold, probably there are so much offers of living space there and the prices could be down.

from puerto vallarta, jalisco mexico regards from this side of the planet...

It's a Sony Ericsson K800i. 3.2MP. If you catch the good light it is not that bad...

I thought they have finished the previous floor, except the part belonging to the spire of course. Am I wrong?
