I'm sure at that point there'll be a good reason for another update.

Take it easy, Cul.

It just doesn't look only 1.2 - also the very top fin which is just under the top platform by a few cm. faces straight South - so unless they rotate it some what we see it is not the top of tier 30 pinnacle 4.
Hi Fury.

The diameter of the main circular columns of the lower section of the steel structure is ~800mm so the section of the pinnacle installed there looks to be well over 1200mm in diameter. More like 1500mm as you say.

This is possibly the section of pinnacle below the top 1200mm section. The next move may be to winch up the top 1200mm section (with the access platform) and fix it on top of this 1500mm section in-situ?

What an interesting evening!

Just been released after two hours in custody with BD security for tresspassing on the BD property (right up to the entrance)

Anyway some interesting pics before I was caught, and after total refusal to give up my camera to security.

Will post in a few minutes.

Before Arrested Today

Now we know that the spire is not inside the BD and has still to be installed.

This section looked to be around 1.0 M diameter.

To help with future scaling the flange width on the steel section is 18 inches.

More to come, but I am banned from going in there again or its jail I have been warned.
