sorry about that post before. it wasn't me it was my friend. he got in under my name and kept on clicking for like 1/2 hour.
awesome updates OTR and denisS.
final wind tunnel testing will be on the 23rd February 2009.
currently designing led laser show for top of tower. also lights kind of like the ones used at wtc memorial NYC on the sides and corners. and the tower will sit on a small lake man made like the Beijing egg so that lights can be completely around at night. also making a massive water fountain for the lake. and just cause i live in Newcastle doesn't mean i have a lot of time. Tuesday i was in Forster/tuncurry at 4am and Thursday i was in kempsey at3am. lol.
i will post a copy of the building on a new thread next year sometime when its done.
c ya.

Oh and can someone post a link to the Burj Dubai Lake Hotel thread? For the life of me I can't find it on here.

fountain reaching more than 280 metres...

is the top of the water not going to be scattered away from the center of the waters at such amazing height?

The wind speed and direction is considered and the water pressure and inclinement of the water canons are adjusted accordinly.

... not again with the "it's so thin it will snap in two ... in case of an earthquake it will top over ... it's so heavy it will sink" kind of comments.

Hi ZZ.

Yes the one wing of section 22A does look nearly completed. There is two wings on all 3 sections of tier 22 but they have only erected one wing of the first 2 sections so far. The plans show both wings of all 3 sections of tier 22 erected before the jacking proceedure but I'm starting to wonder. Regardless, after the jacking is done they will put up the other wing of tier 22 (if they don't do it first) then the one wing of tier 23. The wings of the tiers above that are part of the jacking plan.

It is hard to tell but it doesn't look like they have hoisted up the section of pinnacle that OTR got pics of yet.

I wonder what they'll do: start the 3rd section of tier 22 or... something else? Will be a big surprise probably
