I thought the new crane would be somewhat smaller! Isn't this crane only for dismantling the old (bigger) one, or does it have more tasks up there?

And what is this vertical beam or strip in the middle of tier 22a???

So they are only taking down one tiny section of the crane at a time!? its gonna hault construction of the tower for ages.. atleast untill it reaches the height of the new smaller crane where i presume that will continue to dismantle it. I would have thought the crane section could have come down in larger peices like.. atleast 3-4 bits at a time, not 1.. =/

You're right. But maybe it's just for safety purposes. We don't want to drop any of these pieces.

Those pieces are still 2 meter high. So they are not that tiny :P

I am assuming what you meant to say was that the crane will be gone in the evening?... i Highly Doubt that. meybe a week or two.
