I really hope that they make a multi-disk DVD set of the conception/construction/completion of the Burj Dubai e.g

Disk 1: Concept: 2 hour documentary following concept of Burj Dubai and its many changes
Disk 2-4: 9 hour documentary following the 5 year construction of the tower
Disk 5: 2 hour documentary charting, The Completion, full opening ceremony and an inside look of living/working inside the mighty Burj Dubai

Am i living in a dream world? probably. but it wouldnt have cost much to these rich dubai princes to high a filmaker and crew to document every aspect of the Burj Dubai project

We'll probably never see this idea come true, but god would i love it to happen!!!

May take 9 hours to get all the yummy goodness in. It's a landmark, no doubt they'll make detailed documentary out of it, maybe even in near future
And hey- I'd not mind 9 hours of Burj Hard to take in all the pure awesomeness of it, it'd not be hard to spend a day just absorbing all the amazing parts in relation to the end result.
What would be really neat is if it was made into film that was played in theatres- IMAX even, though it'd have to be a bit spiffed up to be shown in cinema(not that it's boring, just that it'd probably attract more people if it featured nifty camerawork, special effects and nice soundtrack...hee )
Might be tricky finding songs for soundtrack though.
Suggestions?
ha. They did it for "March of the Penguins." They can do it for Burj Dubai(which is obv better anyway)

That's where Sharp's 105" LCD TV and Panasonic's 150" Plasma one come to play.

Yeah right... I'm sure it will be a regular 50 min. documentary on Discovery or NatGeo, to fill one hour (plus 10 min. left for advertising).

I hope it will be better than the Burj al Arab, where ~15 min. was about fabrics used to decorate the interiors.

- Awesome shot, lays out the entire Burj Dubai complex in detail and brings out the sheer size of the monster.

It does look silly now but in a decade, a lot off bushes/plants/grass/trees will be planted with small creeks and some lakes to boot!!

Almost anything around the BD (Including BD itself) wasnt there a decade ago!!

Nothing more then mere sand and a shallow small lake.

Now a full fledged small city witch construction in full swing. Tommorow a completed site with tropical plants and trees!
