Steel doesn't use forms because it doesn't "dry".

I wonder what kind of noise one hears, standing a couple of hundred meters from the tower. There are thousands of people working in and on this building. I can imagine a cacophony of construction noises, adding to the already impressive view.
i fail to notice any sound! i work in Burj Dubai Square Building#6 (nearest completed building to burj dubai facing Dubai Mall tower.

I think they're including it's TV tower, even though it's not part of the structure itself.

Yeah, its technically 381m if you don't count it's antenna and 450 with. Even though the antenna looks more like a spire to me, since its not just an antenna on a flat roof and it basically makes the building as iconic as it is. Either way the ESB is beast.

And good god, the burj is getting absolutely ridiculous in height. Love it. I find it funny that even with over 30 floors clad, it's still hard for me to imagine how it will look fully clad. Incredible.

Do you not read the dates when I post ?

07 10 27

I posted it not because it is from today, but because it is a great shot.

I have lots more old but fresh shots.

Remember - this is not the "post pics that are only from today" thread.
