The picture is truly amazing, and it is absolutely striking how Dubai grew in such short time, but... Is that pollution on the horizon? I hope not... That would bring "reality" to such paradise!

Hi all.

Thanks Dennis. I and many others do appreciate your pics - great job.

We can see the welding platform that was half way up tier 30 on the pinnacle is gone - must be done welding the two halves together. I presume they have also coated the weld and bolted on the two fins that the welding platform was in the way of.

Something going on at the top of tier 30. Not the top platform yet but there are pieces sticking up above the pinnacle. At first I thought they were the beginning of the handrail but it bolts to the 1.5m. dia. 15mm. thick "floor" of the platform. Perhaps they are some sort of guides for placing the platform - I kinda doubt that though. Not sure what they are for - anyone have any ideas ?

Yep, exept that the picture is just somehow like 900pixels wide, which looks incredibly small on 1900pixels wide resolution! So post large resolution pictures folks if you have any!

I was just thinking, they should have the Cranes lift a few tables to the floors they are working on now. So when the building is complete and a maintenance crew goes way up there to do work from time-to-time. They have something to sit down on and have their lunch.

It's not pollution I think it's dust/sand.
