That second photo kind of reminds me of The Matrix environment.

There hasn't been any upward growth for a while now. They must be prepping to jump the crane may be.

Hi all.

Altin i think it is the window washing unit - same as Imre said ? (BMI - ?)(Perhaps he meant Building Maintenance Unit ?) Thanks for the pics guys.

No change on the top of the pinnacle. As was posted a few pages ago what is up there could be a redesigned top platform handrail but I don't think so. I think they will follow the plan and the handrail will bolt to the 1.5m. dia. floor of the top platform.

Here is the detail print to illustrate.

So I'm still wondering what is going on up there. Obviously it has something to do with the construction of the top platform.

Of course, and when you get to the top, top of your head will be higher than the top of the Burj Dubai.

The last occupied floor will be the 162th or at 624m.

Above that point there will be some small staircase access to somewhere between 700m and 720m (not completely sure about that).

After that, there are only ladders to the very top of the pinnacle, where there will be just enough room for one man to stand on top of the Burj, maintenance people mostly, maybe the sheikh. (Envy those who will)

ps. BMHT already made it clear
