Very nice! Also love the Index in that shot, looks so dramatic.

Agree. Very spectacular photos indeed, but too small for the taste of this forum.

The picture i posted on the previous page and the one above prooves that Dubai isnīt pollutet nor has a SUCH BIG sand in the air problem as so many people here claim. Sure there are sand storms in a city like Dubai, but i guess many pictures have only a shity quality, and because of that you canīt see for example details or the Burj Dubai from the Marina!

[QUOTE=germantower;27730208]Amazing picture of the grand Burj Dubai!

QUOTE]

You know, Dubai seems to not have very many clouds. So when you see the heigh of Burj Dubai againts a blue sky, you really do not get a good feel of the height looking up. However, I like this picture because it shows clouds and it feels the building is reaching to the clouds. It gives me a better feeling of the scale of this supertall.

I was hoping that Dubai would get some real cloudy days to show the top of the building shooting through and over the clouds. Maybe someday we may get a chance to get some clouds in that way.

burj Dubais 124th floor ob deck will be both indoor and outdoor (large tier12 terrace) at 442m. I think its highest outdoor deck atm?
only higher is skybridge in SWFC=472m, spacepod in cntower=447m
the Guangzhou tower will have rooftop ampetheatre at 445m.

That's correct, but it was the Emirates Road which goes quite straight. However, it remains a guess I guess

Basically, the main difference between fog and clouds is altitude. Maybe another thing, the distance between the water molecules. But conceptually, they're the same: water in thin air

Emirates road does not run in a direction away from the building, more like paralel to it (if you can say that). I doubt you were further away then 25 kms.

Wrong.

Those pictures only proves that the sky in Dubai can also be blue and clear, depending on the direction of the winds and/or level of the humidity.

Yes, you are right, I was just trying to say that you cannot take a picture of Burj Dubai rising into the clouds in a foggy weather. This was that pictures point...
