I took the same principle for counting other mechanical floors.

If you look at that picture, you will see that the last floor below the third mechanicals is number 72, mechanical floors are 73-75, the floor above is floor 76. From outside mechanical floors look like 2 floors, but count as 3. Maybe because they are higher or there are 3 floors only in core but not in the wings? Dont know really but the story is the same at each mechanical floors.

Edit - Another way of looking at the mechanical floor situation is that they are so high that the batch equates to 3 normal floors. It certainly does hold true for the third mechanical set if you compare floors 73-75. Those two floors alone are equal to three normal ones.

I liked the 60-minutes show! Having in mind how critically they usually angle their cases it was not bad at all. And Sheikh Mohammad rocks

PS. Huge improvement from the last time Andy Rooney had a segment about Dubai. That time it oozed ignorance and stupidity. But admitting that he had never heard about it nor knew where it was. Heh.

The show runs a number of stories per episode. 20 minutes sounds about right for this one.

The tower already almost looks unreal. Can't stop looking at some of these photos. I think it will be slender looking but in the right proportion.

its hard to belive som how i think it is going to be a sutch a tower that pepol are coming there
the first time is going to stay end look strait up end gaping whit there mouths

end if the al burj is going to get bult it is rely going to be somthing we newer sen befour !
