Is this now the official roof hight (739 m)? Or was it at 701 m (roof 4=spire 1)?

I know, that's just why it looks so fragile. All those floors are supported how it should be. If there's a strong wind blowing against it, I really don't know how it will stay stabile.

well there are a few roofs in burj dubai
The main roof or last inhabitable roof is tier18/624m or lev162.
The last section of spire you can climb internally by stairs is tier24/739m.
from there you have to climb up ladder inside pinnacle.Although there are tiny balconies at tiers25,26 and 27.
Tier 27 could also be looked at as a roof, as its highest part you can stand safely behind a high parapet.
Above this is rest of the pinnacle which has ladder access taking you to the very top aircraft beacon where you can also stand at 818m.

It's definately NOT going to be 1000, nor it is going to be on hold. Today progress on steel as well as progress on the cladding. We will see some jacking soon.

Cheers!
