Yes, it would of been more dangerous for him to climb down than to stay in the crane. He would of needed to climb down holding the metal ladder which would of been certain death. Sitting on his nice and comfy leather chair would of been a much safer bet.

That one part of the Burj Dubai is taller than anything downtown! Insanity, pure and simple. Great shot there, pure madness.
