Ummm - NO....

Tier 22 has 2 more sections to be erected that face the crane. If they go with the new plan we have from a week ago those will be put up after jacking. Tier 24, 25, and 26 have small wings that are approx the same size as the pinnacle pipe is at those tiers - 2.1m. dia. The wings that are up now are much larger.

Here is the shape of tier 24.

WOW maybe its inside the Armani hotel.

Can you edit this again and add other half width to the top 4 steel floors to make it even more real? when you have time of course.

Last time I checked, the current top 4 steel floors are only half of their full width.

I think it's the bar on the 63rd floor of The Address (Burj Dubai Lake Hotel)

This tower gets more incredible with each picture. Makes me think of Frank Lloyd Wright's Mile-High City project in Chicago. Something like atomic elevators, 100 helipads on the sides, etc. Great pictures once again.

I have to admit... I don't know much about it. Nevertheless I took a close-up of it, since it was mentioned in one part of the the documentary "Impossible City":

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-KG5Ukmyi0
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bOd_...eature=related
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0Q9S...eature=related
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyiaI...eature=related
Part 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfHh3...eature=related
Part 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjWpu...eature=related

It is an inside-out building so to say. Outside is the concrete structure supporting the glass and steel "content" like an exo-skeleton. They fill the projected openings in the concrete structure with some soft material, pour the concrete and then they carve out the round windows. Great idea, I think!

Don't know if there's a thread regarding this building, so I'll post the close-up here:

Has the Spire been Jacked Up??

What are we seeing at the top of the pix Captain Kimo provided in post #12364 and 12365?

It is a very distant shot but it looks like the is spire jacked-up way above the top steel floors?

Do we have lift off?

Hi Land.

No jacking has been done yet.

Section 23B is done so jacking should begin soon going by the new plan.

One thing that I'm still wondering about though. The top access platform is still not up yet - now they may have redesigned it but I don't think so. The 3 beacons are up but they look like they are on temporary supports. At least one of them looks askew - as in it is not aimed properly. The platform floor that is supposed to be 1.5m. dia is not up yet either. The floor is 15 mm. thick so it would have to be hoisted by the crane I would think. Another point is, the handrail that has to be put around the platform no matter how much they redesign, is not there.

I would think the top platform would be finished completely before it is jacked up above the cranes reach. I just can't see workers climbing the pinnacle internal ladders while carrying parts and pieces so they can install them after jacking.

I say, the top platform will be added by helicopter at the end...would be very spectacular in my eyes.
