Of course that can be done (its just as easy!), but the best way to compare them vs. BD was to put them close up to it.

Anyway, since you seem to be clear on something for the picture why not make one your self too?

Lets see what i can do to satisfie ReiAyanami! :P

Some really good photos there Desert Diver!

NOT cool dude...........

Just playin' around - I know but still .......

Anyway there sure has been a shift of focus away from the top steel works. There is alot more work to be done inside with MEP and fitout than the top out work so it is understandable.

It's a good shop. Not like he wants it to happen, but anyone who's seen an action movie in the last 15 years likes a good disaster scene. It's nothing personal.

It would be interesting if the top part of the tower had landed on the Dubai mall, but that'd be a lot of work as well.

And the SWFC is waaay under 490 m in that comparison pic

Good morning everyone.
You're right Fury, focus isn't at the top anymore, but work inside goes on. When I visited, there were (still) 10000 people working at the site, divided over day- and nightshift.

Today's pictures:

Cheers

The architecture of burj Dubai the best of them IMO .. Plus its far from being "bland" .. try taking a closer look:

So what am I looking for, I see plenty of BLAND, It has some great though put into it, however, its just GLASS. For such excess in height, there is not much going on.

I like both your Photoshops Ŝróndeimr, very convincing. And the captions are hilarious, regardless of what the moral preachers preach.
