This pic reminds me of the historical photos showing construction workers atop Empire State Building’s unfinished frame without any straps. Just awesome!!

Spire was about 9 meters under the top of tier 23B, so that's why.

-9 + 12 = 3

Did the jacking start during daylight or did they wait until darkness? So far it seems like they've been trying to hide work on the spire under cover of darkness.

Jacking started during the afternoon so I dont think any intentions to work under cover of darkness.

Why February when the spire was raised more than 12m in one day?

Great news ! Finally some meters more after a long time... Seems like BD is celebrating Xmas or New Year with so much lights at the top ! Nice spectacle !

But since it has something to do with BD i posted it, since there is tonns of other photoshopped paintings here. Can't see any reason why any picture/drawning of BD (photoshopped or not) shouldn't be allowed here.
That WAS sick!!!!

I remember I read some plans here on this thread saying the jacking will take around 6-7 weeks... This is why I asked...

Yes by the latest info 5 to 6 weeks in 8 stages.

They will have to stop between stages and install fins and/or wings/cladding.

Just a thought, I don't want to be pessimistic, but is it possible that they just jacked it up to the top level of the structure, which won't make any difference for the crane movement anyways? I mean they still might be waiting for some cladding work to be completed before further jacking?

Hi Mithat.

That is possible. Dennis did hear that some cladding needed to be done before the pinnacle is too high as to impeed the movement of the crane.
