2 slight problems -

(1) it's a bit wonky!

(2) no idea where to get it hosted!
One of the best pics in this thread
I've tried to fix it, but unfortunately there was a slight loss in quality:

There is nothing going to top out this week, they first have to attach all missing tiers from now on before further jacking.

Agree, only if everything goes perfect like is planned it will take 6 weeks, which is often not the case of course. Early Februari would be good.

That's pretty neat work there Kimo

I don't know anything about post-processing really. I'm going to try to fix it "at the source"

well, there's gotta be a purpose unless that part of Burj dubai is completely finished. The crane's not there for decoration.

This city is beginning to look like Star Wars. All we need now is antigravitational Lamborghinis.

Does anyone know why they don't finish those half-completed floors? Does it interfere with the spire jacking or something like that?

its only half done, or otherwise the crane cabin will get bashed up as it rotates. If you look at the photos you'll notice that the crane is not gonna smash the floors with half missing on crane's side of the steel floors.

if the steel floors on same height as the crane cabin were fully completed, you can see that as the crane rotates it will simply not be able to rotate.

But surely they could just increase the height of the crane if that was a problem?
