do construction sites stop over xmas period?
in australia , construction sites stop for 2-3 weeks from 20th dec to mid jan.(holidays)
does this happen in Dubai?

yes understand, but not all people in australia are christians. its summer holidays time. you know,time for a break. no holidays in dubai?

Lol here it's in the middle of the winter. It's gonna freeze this weekend here (Netherlands). But someone ,can't remember name, from Dubai said that some Western companies are closed a few days but most companies and Dubai construction site stay working.

Isn't it true that most workers are in Dubai just to work (away from their families and home) and they don't care about having a holiday, since there is nothing for them to do in Dubai except working?? Maybe because it's Christmas they will 1 dollar an hour instead of 60 cents....

that is cladding next to the spire.

But I never knew there is steel rising on top of side burj dubai building initially about 7 concrete floors tall. BTW who are those people singing carol songs? Looks to me as Philipinos.
