They can not even find a cable for an elevater going this high, so the small BMU's on top will probably only be for the top of the structure, whereas more BMU's are placed further down as fury already said.

Hi all.

I don't know for sure steev but I think Dennis hit the nail on the head.

Guys there will be some dozen or so BMU's. None will have to hang down from the top small wings to the podium. Each will hang down to the bottom of the wing the boom is mounted on with some of the lower booms being extendable so the platform can drop down the next tier wing that sticks out more. The BMU's we can see on the top wings in some of Imre's shots are quite small. The ones lower down on the steel levels of which one has been up there for a while now are more substantial. I imagine the ones for the main wing tiers will be more robust yet with the extenable booms.

Here is a couple of timetables I have finally finished.

The first is one for the concrete tier tops. The dates are close but approximate as one must estimate what level is at the top of the forms The dates are when the forms were raised to that level. The heights are from the floor of the ground level (as per the plans) to the top of the core wall being formed.

The second is for the steel levels / sections. Again the heights are from from the floor of the ground level (as per the plans) to the top of the beams which are the floor of the next level / section.

OTR had one made for most of the levels but there were some errors in the dates. My appologies OTR - there is no offense intended whatsoever - it was your great idea that sparked me to make these.

I have a third one on the go for the spire / pinnacle jacking stages also. I will post it once we have topped out.

How about a device that act like a car wash but moves vertically (and can reach continually for at least 100 meters?). That may help.

Fantastic shot! What's with the 10 small 'dot' things on the pinnacle cladding? And is that a BMU boom we can seen on the top wing?

They are too strange located to be some sort of lighting I think. Maybe a kind of instruments to permanently measure the wind forces at different places arount the top part of the spire?

The small black dots on the spire itself are small windows. In the night shots, you could see clearly light coming out of them while light in the spire for maintenance is put on.

And I think too that that is a small BMU at the top of that tier.

Oh now I see it. Those small spheres at the outside of the cladding... strange.

It's almost like there are a couple of 'empty' holes that when filled would bring the number of these 'dots' to 12 - just below and to the right of the (supposed) BMU boom, and at the top of the second-highest wing (just to the right of that wing's highest 'dot'). I reckon these dots might be lights(?).
