Wouldn't that mean that if it's jacked up all the way it would be higher than 818?

Ok, thanks for brutally crushing my hopes, CULWULLA.

I got really excited thinking Emaar might give us a little surprise after all.

Hi all.

Some good eyes in here. Yes they attached the top half of the small wing of tier 23 and the top half of the half wings as well. We can only see one half wing but its a good bet both are or will be attached before the next jacking stage.

Drone. Look back a few pages - I posted a labelled shot showing where the bottom of tier 24 is. The bottom of the cladding now is half of tier 23. There is ~ 19 meters or just under 3 sections to be jacked.

Drew. The top looks the same to me although i wish they would install the rails.

I think they will jack ~ 10 meters then attach the bottom half of tier 23 wing and half wings.

Then jack to top out.

It is acceptable if you are excited about the idea of how fast someone would fall and share it with us, that's totally OK, this is the spirit...

But it is not acceptable when you keep arguing off topic, filling the screens of all forumers with very long off topic, misleading, inaccurate rubbish. Information is very easily accessible these days, it takes just seconds to find out that the free fall speed for humans in normal conditions is 120 mph. We don't want to read your baseless theories here.

If you don't know what you are talking about, you could have said: "wow, I wonder how fast you will hit the ground" or "it might take around 15 sec." instead of writing misleading formulas here, then no one would react like this. Ok everyone can make mistakes, at least accept you have forgotten to take air resistance into account and don't argue so long here just to prove yourself right, you are not.

While absolutely true and accurate, interestingly Joe Kittinger has broken the sound barrier (714 mph+) in a freefall dive record attempt jumping from over 100K' from a balloon. I'd say that the relatively thinner atmosphere had something to do with this.

However, jumping from the top of the Burj would be much less of a dramatic affair and achieve much slower terminal velocity...

Sorry that's wrong, Joe Kittinger achieved a maximum speed of 614 mph from 102,800 ft. - He did not break the sound barrier.

Enough with all the off topic **** now.

Who gives a rats...

Yeah, there are all sorts of various claims on the web, suffice to say that man can certainly exceed 250 MPH, just not from the top of the Burj

Peace...
