If you look at couple of pages on this thread, you will see that although the spire is up there, it is moving upwards....

Looks like they put gray primer down first. I think the differences between those two photos is nothing more than lighting.

Spire Lightening Hit

A nice storm going on at the moment over Downtown Burj Dubai, and at least two direct lightening hits on the Burj Dubai spire.

At least the crane driver is a bit more safe now.

it's not bent. it's the other Tier's on the pinnacle

the whole pinnacle, including its tiers, is crooked in relation to the rest of the steel structure
or is that just me?
