Fury hasn't spoke yet, until then I'm holding it in... And of course, the ultimate EMAAR.

It stayed months to change from 808 to 818.
And hours to change from U/C to T/O.

Here's an amazing fact, that I really do think puts the significance of today's top-out into perspective:

The Burj Dubai is only the 16th structure in recorded human history to hold the title of tallest freestanding structure on land.

Around four and a half thousand years ago, the record was held by the Great Pyramid in Giza - and it held the record for around 3900 years.

Today really is a momentous event.

I'm not quite sure how lot of you are 100% sure it's T/O, I'm not denying it or confirming it. It will be 100% until Emaar announces it, after all they and their contractors are the ones deciding and even changing things...

But this is the final jacking according to the schedule isn't it?

The elevator doesn't go that far in the top. Unless they carry the food by the ladders...

Thanks ZZ, it was really simple to see if each tier at that level is circa 3m then it only went up around 4m from yesterday.808 + 4 + 812m

In my opinion the cladding will be added and attached using the lugs as was the case for the cladding already attached and will terminate around the line I have drawn.

And the holes in the spire are manways, not 2m doors.

Is it possible that you mix something up with the railings on the top of each tier? Because i count 9 floors + 1 railing. And i see other parts in your diagramm which are splitted, i would recommend to count it as one, and not as two... And your diagramm also shows 4 floors for each tier, which is wrong, on every photo you can see, that there are 3 floors in tier 24, 25 and 26. I am really sorry to say this, but thats really not a good diagramm. I definitely stick with my dicision, that it is topped out!
