I think it's enough now with all the emoticons. Time to act normal again.

The best pictures of the Burj Dubai are pics after the rain from some park...You don't have feeling that it's in the middle of the desert...

With the gray clouds in the background, we can clearly see how dirty Burj is...
Someone should write on the glass "wash me"...

Since our interest is swifting to the actual exterior completion of Burj, is the cladding proceeding smoothly? Latest updates show the concrete section is almost fully cladded, I remember, though, some discussions about problems with the suppliers.

I think this is the really FIRST shot on which we can estimate the scale of this beast. Taken on december 31th.

I dont think its for a drawing. The diffrent colors are only that the lake looks deaper in den center and like a sandy ground at the borders.

After DB is topped out its nice to see also landscaping around takes shape.
DD thanks for the awesome pics!

There is so much more to anticipate on this construction site... I wonder if we will get to see some pics of the internal areas of the Burj and secondly I sure hope the regular photographers keep us updated of the progress of the lake/fountains and surrounding structures, unless that's in another thread...

Cheers and congrats on the TO.
