Yeah I think for sure he will be able to climb it. The mullions are all quite chunky so plenty of finger and footholds for him to get hold of I think.

Excellent photos, this tower has a height exceeding belief, is impressive, just seeing the photos gives vertigo, that say it all.

Woohoo, topped out! I have a question though: are those large, complicated circular things part of a massive fountain or something?

Yes thats the Dubai Fountain........ no surprise here - its going to be the largest fountain in the world, and shoot the water the highest in the world...more records !

Desgined by the same company who did the Bellagio in Las Vegas - accept this one is 10 times larger!

Hi Desert.

Some beauty shots dude - this one in particular.

We can see how the top half of the cladding connections of tier 23 are going to connect to the cladding of the larger wing. Also we can see how tier 23 cladding that is attached to the pinnacle pipe is open towards the larger wing and how it is not open on tier 24 just above. We can also see the opening in the small wing of tier 24 that opens to the terrace that is the top of tier 23's larger wing. There is a hatch in the pinnacle pipe at the same level leading out to the small wing with the door to the larger terrace. We can also see through the cladding showing it is see through (or at least opaque) and not just made to look like windows from the outside.

The newest schedule we have shows 5 to 6 weeks before the crane disassembly proceedure begins. They have alot of work to do up there before then so I expect we will see the lower half of tier 23 small wings, the 2 sections left of tier 22, and the cladding connections of tier 22 soon. Also I would think the rest of the cladding will be progressing fast as well.

Still lots to "watch" yet.

I am very happy to hear that the Burj Dubai has finally topped out. One step closer to being the official World tallest Structure. A tremendous job done by Emmar, Congratulations to all the people that followed this thread closely and kept it updated.

attachment?
also i agree, there is soooo much to watch over next few months. just because its reached full height, doesnt mean its now nothing to see.
all the good things now will happen to summit of structuire.and base.
cant wait until water gets flow into lake.the whole tower will take on a whole new look.escpeially having a nice reflection ect.
anyway

Culwulla, a point I made a few nights back as the cladding that is adjacent to the spire does not serve any purpose in this location unless its for ease of fitting up adjoining cladding sections.
