I believe it was 157th. But Ro.bi. went 2 times so could be the other time and maybe he went to a different floor than.

Why have the past 2 pages been of fountains? One post of a video of the fountain would have been plenty, but 2 pages? I'm sure there is a water fountain fan site out there somewhere...

Hi Altin.

OTR's shot from the 21st shows it in place on the spire. It was the last small full wing section to go up. Only the 2 "half" wings of both tiers 22 and 23 left and all the small wings are done.

Thanks OTR and Gerald for the prompt response.

I really want to see the 2 sections left to be erected on one of the two larger wings of tier 22, get put up top. They will complete the look at the top of the structure.

Thanks for the shots guys. A shot from 234 today shows the office annex is coming along. Looka like they will only be adding the 3 extra levels. What I wouldn't give to see some interior shots showing the progress.

The fountain looks good - Thanks for all the updates Gerald.

Hey Badchad -

My most sincere apologies for upseting you to such an extent that you felt it necessary to take time out of your busy day to contribute only your fourth post on the forum to complain about a measly 7 videos.

Videos of the first full testing of the world's biggest fountain installation in the lake at the base of the world's tallest building. The building that actually itself directly features in half of the videos posted.

But enough of the context.

Would you like me to go back and delete the posts? I'm sure if we asked nicely enough, we could get all those who commented on them to delete their posts as well, since it was clearly totally out of order for them to comment on something so clearly off topic.

What do you reckon?

Geez Gerald... Entitled much?
All that sarcasm nearly made my eyes bleed.

But great videos, don't let people like that stop you, most of us really appreciate the time you took to do that, thank you.

It will be great to see something a bit more substantial, fountain wise, maybe that's where badchad is coming from. As in, when the fountain is far more functional, not just little squirts in 6 different videos. I however, don't mind the up to the minute updates though.

. . .and we care about what you think, why now? Seriously, like you are even remotely an authority around here, its a bit presumptuous to think you can direct content on a thread with only 4 posts. Just a bit. Ridiculous.

Bring on the fountain shots Gerald. The testing is pretty cool imo. Feel free to post them as they are a part of the burj dubai or dubai mall complex. either thread is good with me. And its in HD. That's whats awesome.

As an aside: Now that I look at the night photo, where do you guys (or gals) think the projection equipment is located? Is it situated in the water, in those large circular canisters?

In the immortal words of Derek and Clive, "Harsh, but fair."

Now. Back on topic with a picture of the Burj Dubai itself. None of this fountain fan-boy nonsense:

Wow - more cladding for the top on the hook!
But why is that beam hanging above? To spare lifts and carry up that cube on the other end of the beam at the same time? I bet that no more steel beams are to be fixed on Burj Dubai.
