Lol listen to the narrator he says: "the official height; still a secret even now...". and this video is very new cuz you can see the lake has already been filled. And it says BD has heighest observation deck which isn't true.

To me in his intro it looked like he was really quite high, higher than when he was talking to Mohammed bin Ali Alabbar on the 160th floor. But that's just my opinion.

I'm sure SOMEONE on this thread can figure out EXACTLY where he was by looking at the video. To help, I've made it downloadable.

In original Flash, .FLV: 14MB
or in iPod/iPhone .MOV: 41MB

Thanks for updating us with the video, Paul! Despite a couple of mistated facts and the like, it's still shocking to see the view that those journalists got!

Actually just noticed that my mom mentioned about taping the show this morning. It turns out there's a much larger segment about Dubai in general but nothing as focused to the BD specifically as the one already linked. The rest of the show just talked about driving SUVs in the sand / sandboarding and other stuff. Nothing that people here wouldn't already know or have an idea about.

At the moment I don't have any video capture cards so even if I wanted to provide the rest of the show, I can't. I'm sure you can find it online or eventually on Youtube though.

Hi who.

Those are some nice prints. They are all from the 705m. version I believe. The base and tower geometry prints are still relevent. The elevation, tier floorplans, and the other geometry prints are relevent only to tier 15 for the correct levels and only to tier 18 for the shape. The geometry prints are interesting as they show the curve of the external walls from a common point in space - cool how they design these things.

I have started a new folder in my prints folder for older revisions prints as they are all new to me and are still relevent to the current revision up to the parameters above.

Keep 'em coming who.

Is the highest observation desk CN tower's in Toronto? I know that the tower is ~1,815.2 feet long and the upper observation deck was somehwre around 1,650. Been there, amazing.
