- Perhaps Otis can help you out. I don't have alot of info on the elevator system. I do have prints that show where the shafts are if those would help.

Hi all.

Here is 3 scans from Smith's book showing the Concourse level, Ground level, and level 1 podiums. Some of the drawings are cut off as I am using a flat panel scanner on a 600 page book. They are large so click on them to see full size.

Dubai888, I just saw a documentairy on the National Geographic about skyscrapers. Burj Dubai and it's elevators were in it. The documentairy is called: big, bigger, biggest: skyscraper. Maybe you can download it somewere.

Hi Dequal.

Yes I noticed that too.

Looks like at least 2 more levels for the office annex. The revision to add more levels to the annex must have been a last minute thought. The roof looked to be pretty much finished before they started with the height increase. The 27 foot model looks like they added 5 levels to the annex if that means anything.

Has anyone got a good video of the fountains all working together at night or are they not working fully yet? All videos and photos posted of the fountains so far have not been impressive compared to Las Vegas.

That height increase isn't very positive IMO. It doesn't look so good anymore when it is that high.

LOl that vid is so old. Has been posted alot of times. I think it's easier to go through burjdubaiskyscraper.com and look at links ther. Most of the good vids bout Burj (documentaries etc) are posted on ther.

From new Google Earth history imagery, it's obvious that default view of BD is not from 1 May 2006, but from 23 Apr 2008

Out of curiosity, I try to know how many images of Burj Dubai in the net.
So, just a minute ago, I googled it. Google finds 286.000 images of Burj Dubai. It outnumbers Burj al Arab which only has 245.000 images.

Cheers!
