I was speaking to an engineer from WET at the side of the fountain a few days ago.

He just said that it going to be the greatest thing on earth and that they are doing a lot of smaller linked ones going into the Burj itself and around the entrance lobby and valet parking area of the hotel section and entrance... the highest spray will be 500 feet. !!! :0 :O

Cheers!
My man, try on the Flickr...

Google doesn't track images on sites such as Flickr (maybe a few of them will appear on Google, but not all of them)

wow, the burj will completely be brown in 40 years if nothing's done about it.

2 photos above shows just how big this thing is. (15 times the height of the US space shuttle)

That is a relevant as posting pictures of Catrina or other hurricans from the Gulf Of Mexico, in the Chicago Spire thread.

Those pictures are taken less than a week ago. And I saw the car covered in dust, and the lake which was full of dust very quickly. And some people said there have been some sandstorms in Dubai too.

And they're real, not photoshoped.

Yes it is. These things are just insane. You can check it on youtube. Such sandstorm moves pretty slow but its breathtaking if you see that coming towards you especially when you didnt see anything like that in your life. Its some scary stuff I believe. Like doomsday or something lawl. I wonder how they act durring the storm, closing windows sounds just funny tho.

So are you saying it doesn't rain or blow winds in Chicago?

Sandstorms are quite often in Arabic Peninsula, i am remember from TV few years ago a similar sandstorms in Baghdad...

Also cuch a massive sandstorm would be "catastrophic" for the Burj Dubai lake.
Think what happens now,(many discussions in previous pages) from the dust from nearest u/c facilities.....
