the cladding on the steel floors look high in that pic. Anyone know how high it is now? I haven't seen photo of cladding on steel floors for months now...

LOL That's spot on!

Absolutely incredible!

The "rings" seem to be consistently higher in the photos...
Does anyone know which parts of the fountain will hit 150m, or will all of it be able to go that high?

Thanks Desert Diver for the astounding photos! I can just imagine how great it is to be there in person. Looks like the larger fountain is pegging around ~125 feet (40m)? If so, this is only a taste of what's to come! Still exceptionally impressive though.

Hi all.

Great shots guys.

The office annex is coming along. With the extra 2 levels they are starting on for a total of 5 steel levels added to the original concrete the annex is going to look fairly tall.

As there is a financial problem with the cladding I can see it moving slow right now on the main structure but I am surprised that the steel work at the top is being done so slowly. Not that there is any hurry but it sure blows the 6 weeks between top out and crane removal (that the latest schedule shows) all to hell.

The podium landscaping is coming along. Still a long ways to go but the landscaping along with the lakes and fountains are really gonna make this thing spectacular.

As I posted before Smith's book shows a little of the fitout and finish of some of the interior hallways - they look as good as the exterior. I imagine the interior is moving faster than the exterior right now. Emaar - please start allowing site visits again ... as if site visits had anything to do with the jumpers anyway ...

Sure is alot less technical stuff to post about now that we are topped out. My mind keeps going back to all those early piling shots that are out there ... Henrik and/or Altin - are you here ?
