I thought it would have high-tech instrumentation. Unless of course it's an "antique".
Those switches have to be operated with gloves on, whilst traveling at 100-180mph, and pulling 4 or 5 G's.

F1 cars are hard enough to drive in a straight line (just ask Sulayem). Function over form when it comes to knobs and switches

I always thought these surrounding buildings of BD (including Old Town) would be a beautiful location to shoot a James Bond movie

Everyone should read this article about the slavery that has built the shining towers, shopping malls and infrastructure of Dubai. Alot is going on behind the scenes that we are not told.

Yes myself amongst others posted the pic of the model from Citiscape 2008.

The only draw back is their aint enough romm to fit in the additional towers or they will need to knock down the double tier road on Doha Street.

Watched a bbc documentry on iplayer which was basically trying to say that indians and pakistanis were told if they go to dubai they will earn x amount so they pay a large fee to some agent to get them to dubai and get them work. They get there and recieve a fraction of what they though they would earn which is only enough to pay of the debt on the initial fee and pay for bread and rice 6 days a week and meat once a week if theyre lucky. So they are trapped in that situation until they pay off the initial debt. Sounds like slavery to me in all but name.

Beating a dead horse. This issue gets ignored by the people on this board. Myself and many others have brought this up and nobody seems to care. People usually respond, "its getting better" and actually with the economy grinding to a halt in Dubai, and all over the world the situation is getting worse as more of these unfortunate workers are building the empty beasts.
