Please get back to Topic.

If there is news on B D progress, please post it.

Please stop posting off-topic material. This is a waste of time for readers, and a waste of bandwidth and storage space on the servers.

Some recent posts that are completely irrelevant should be deleted.

Thank you

I don't understand this plain "technical" point of view. You spend so much time reading on-topic stuff, so what matters a tiny fraction of off-topic material... Especially since the sponge-bob thing was quite funny I think But you're right, this is all dead serious stuff. There should be nothing to laugh about. Ever.

Back to topic: I saw this spot the other day driving around the Trade Centre roundabout and I liked the perspective. Since I had to go to Bur Dubai today I took my camera just for this one pic. Had to stop in heavy traffic and pissed off some other drivers I guess Well to me, it was worth the hassle (sorry for laughing and trying to spread some good atmosphere, I'm getting back to serious in a minute)

Some fantastic photos above guys, and i must say the last one posted by Taufiq is stunning!

I understand the building has employed special glazing to reflect the sun, etc. but if anyone has some detailed information on it and how it differs to other reflective glazing (if at all), i'd be interested to hear.

Burj Dubai has really showed how impossible can be made possible.....Not many people thought that a building of this height can be built in today's times.....
Stunning

Cheers again for all the fantastic pics! Its been great watching this go up and canoont wait until its open, I WILL be going to see it as soon as I can.
Wonder how many metres the tip of the spire covers as the building rocks in stronger wind conditions? I'd have thought if you were in one of the higher apartments it will keep you awake for abit!

They say only 1.5 meter ... and the tip of the pinnacle is 400 meters above the highest apartment in the tower.

beautiful tower

This is the most beautiful tower I have ever seen.
I am currently negotiating to buy an apartment in Burj Dubai.
Despite the financial crisis, they are asking big money for apartment in this tower. Interiors are expected to be very beautiful.
