Who knows how often it rains in Dubai area?

There has been environment changes in downtown area, resulting certain reactions from nature.

Guy: I hope they have a lightning rod in the Burj because being that tall would be definitely hit by lightning.

Me: Haven't you seen countless of pictures and videos of the Burj Dubai getting hit by lightning, posted here continuously, the last just a few pages earlier? So yeah, there's one.

EDIT: sundrop74, you're a newbie here so don't talk to me about pictures of Burj Dubai
No harm done, but I'm not really a newbie. I didn't register until late last year, but I've been following this skyscraper's construction for several years now.

Yep. I was already yearning for this weather, couldn't take decent night shots and distant shots for quite a while now. But yesterday I could even see from my neighborhood how the cladding reflected the bright sunlight and every detail of the tower was visible - some 17km away from the tower

I know taste is a matter of opinion, but this has to be the most "universally tasteful" building in Dubai. (Ie. not conforming to a single cultural style of building etc.)

Looking better and better as it nears completion.
