Hi all.

Wow - great find Helghast. I want that for my collection.

Anyone have a link to a free flv video downloader ? I have one for youtube vids but it doesn't like the taste of any that aren't youtube vids.

Thanks

Fury, if you are using the Firefox, i suggest you to download the "downloadhelper". It's an add on with which you can download any stuff you want from a website.

Here is a link: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/3006 !

After you have installed it, an "downloadhelpericon" will appear on the leftz side of the adressbar. When you visit a website, this icon will move, now the only thing you need to do is, click an the arrow which appears when you move the mousecursor on the icon. A menu will than appear, which shows you the media which is downloadable with the downloadhelper.

Cheers Deni

why are you amazed? not every one is a skyscraper fanatic, skyscrapers to us are what star wars and star trek are for trekkies,
my point is most people have better things to do than check what/where the world's tallest building is.
as a comforting thought though 33% of americans cant find the U.S on a world map

That guy definitelly knows about Burj Dubai. He has even posted in the earlier threads. Either he posted that after returning from the local Pub or more then one person uses that account nowdays.

Tu answer some earlier questions about the space of the tower, on Adrian Smith's presentation it says tha the tower has 300,000 sqm of space in the main part of the tower and additional 200,000 sqm on the podium floors, 2 anexes buildings and underground levels.

So in total there are 500,000 sqm of space.

interesting to hear that the original design was 700+ meters but we all thought it was 550m..... Odd.

Posted in the UAE section. It explains allot of things related to the lake

I doubt at this stage any of these are in operation hence the manual cleaning all the time.

Also underground on Island Park is what is called the Lake Maintenance Facility where they will keep all the maintenance equipment needed for the fountain, also kept in here would be dredging boats for cleaning the lake.

Anyone have any new information when the filtration systems are supposed to be up and running? I can't wait till they are working so we can see how much of a difference there will be.

Hi Deni.

Thanx for the info. I use IE7 though.

Thanx for the second vid Helghast.

I found I have both of these in PDF format from March '08.
