That's why they wear helmets. Although that won't help if a piece of concrete falls down.

The BD is not complete yet; it is not the only broken window, i had find another one (i said in previous post). When they complete the cladding, they will change those broken windows...

Dubai looks really, awesome - now only if they could make the surroundings green rather than the sandy grey

We had a bunch of spectacular pictures of the exterior of this stunning tower, but I am longing to see how it's gonna look inside.

Thanks for the glimpse King of Construction! I am looking forward to see more!

Crane Boom Lowering

Interesting viewing this morning as the crane boom being lowered spun out of control for almost an hour.

The guys working on the mechanical floor tubular must have been crapping themselves.

The boom has now been hoisted back up to the setback to correct the bad rigging setup.

Question on BMU's

How many BMU's are there on the tower, and at what locations/levels ? I don't recall seeing these high-up ones listed on Fury's charts, but I should look again.

I see that some BMU's have been in service doing cladding. Can any of these be used for lifting material from the ground during ongoing maintenance of the building, or will they just use materials/tools etc already raised by elevators inside ?

Thank you
