I think the surroundings make it even more beautiful, the tower itself wouldn't be as fantastic as without the fountain, the lake and the old town of course. Without them we wouldn't have all that great shots and agles.

Once they clean it the tower will become even more beautiful. Not dumb renders, it will be the final product we are waiting for!

I have visited Dubai several times, and it does have the "X" factor.Different areas of the city will give you a different kind of experience.Besides, development of ambitious projects does not mean the loss of culture or heritage. If you are interested in the old dubai, you can always go to Deira.

As for being a laboratory for architects, someplace has to be it,why not dubai?Visiting dubai is like taking a look at the future.I admire the city for its courage to reach new heights, explore new limits, and most importantly for its "Can do" spirit.

the pictures are truly beautiful and what I 'd like to know, when is it really finished? and do anybody know if they are going to illuminate Burj Dubai thoroughly? that could be really awsome! just imagine the spiky top floors shining like a star at night?! wow

And what I 'd like to see more, a " green" colors, trees, palms and more trees around, that makes the whole pictures truly complete.
