And what I 'd like to see more, a " green" colors, trees, palms and more trees around, that makes the whole pictures truly complete.
I am on look out mode from my apartment every night as very soon the external light testing will commence I am sure and we will have the first indications of the illumination system.

Old Town Resident, please, please, throw a party and invite us to the party so we can enjoy the view too. A co-worker just asked me why I look so green today? I said: I am getting green of jealousy!!!

Thank you Old Town Resident, but I live far far away in a far far away land where sadly nobody likes skyscrapers and/or super talls. Tallest building is 45 storeys and in my city it has only 13 storeys. :-( boring huh?

Very nice pics @Imre; those circle type concrete walls what purpose are for? Or are just for the BD design...?

So the railings at the maintenance floors are rails to guide the BMU's (according to the article + pics)?

Looks like the windows are spoiled with the heat, the skin of the metallic parts seem to go away.

Looking at the sheer size of Burj Dubai and the amazing level of detail it has, I just can't imagine how many single technical drawings they had to create. They must be dozens of thousands!
