JB Sentral Terminal
Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

JB Sentral Terminal is sited on the northeast of the existing Johor Bahru Railway Station on KTMB land.

The JB Sentral was designed to upgrade the existing railway station at Johor Bahru in response to the increasing demand of rail commuters.

New bus and taxi pick up points are provided along Jalan Jim Quee to enhance this new rail station.

Two (2) multilevel car parks (comprising 726 car parking bays) are situated over both sides of the JB Sentral to provide parking facilities for the entire project.

Does a remodeled station count? Milwaukee's was finished last year.

The shed won't be redone until they get enough funds to. I hope it looks as good as some of the others in this thread, the dark and dingy look doesn't work with the rest of the station.

Surprised there aren't a lot of American stations here!

Moynihan Station- to replace Penn Station in NYC, has been proposed for over a decade and a half.

Transbay Terminal- planned new station with supertall in San Francisco. Designed by Cesar Pelli. Due to be completed in 2017.

The design process was a competition, and I prefered SOM's design.

In Austria the newest station might be the one in the rather sleepy lower Austrian capital of St. Pölten (pop. ~50 000). The station was rebuilt on the spot of the old one, the old facades were conserved but the inside as well as the platforms, tracks etc are all completely new. Its not really huge so I will only post a link to a couple of nice photos of it: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...&postcount=288

A number of radical station renewal programs are under way across the country. Mentionable are in this regard Salzburg Hbf which had a rather messed up look before but will be a beauty afterwards, even though not huge either.
