When I registered,I promised something. Now here it is. Because of the cold weather,we only managed to capture a small part of the city.
This is an old commie-block,the first sight on our trip.  Egyetem boulevard towards the University of Debrecen...  ...and backwards,towards the Kölcsey Centre(where we didnt go this time).  My old prison(dormitory),its 6 years old.  A graffiti could be nice too.   A new house nearby.  Well...   University from the distance.  Centre of Foreign Languages.  Music school(Konzervatórium).  New bus,common sight in Debrecen.  University from a closer POV.  Main building of the university,with fountain(and a park)in front.  New houses next to the university.    Street view.  Sporting facilities of the university. BTW,we collect reusable waste this way,in these colorful "boxes".  Building of the TTK(natural sciences).    Botanic garden of the university.  Kossuth dormitory,which was partly renovated last year,but there are works still going on.     Buildings of TTK also.   Kossuth 3 dormitory.  This building used to be a temple,but now it is an internet café.    Tram station.  Nagyerdő(big forest),the park of Debrecen.          Aquatica Hotel.  Vigadó   Hotel Nagyerdő.  Tram. We have this kind . Leveles Csárda. an other great example of a nice graffiti.  Hotel Divinus,u/c.   Mormon temple to the left,mansion to the right.  Streetscape.  Mormon temple again.  Nice house.  House being renovated.  House of a playmate,from you know which magazine.   Building of Atomki(AtommagKutató Intézet-Atomcore Research Centre)      Advertisement.  The building of the regional blood supplier.  A new library,which was was completed around this May.   Nice buildings.      Old tram,we still have some of these. Its nicknamed cyclops.  Monument,remembering the Trianon Treaty.  Nagysándor József barracks.   Streetscape from a tramstation.     Map and schedule of the tramline.  A ride on that tramline.  Residential buildings nearby   Our trip:red is where we walked,blue is where we rode the tram.  I hope you like what we did! |

   You should open a Debrecen constructions&development thread, of course If You have the time and will... As I hear and read, You have quite many things going on around the city... I would really like to see pics, and read info about the u/c Debrecen Fórum Kulturális és Kereskedelmi Központ (Piactömb) or the planned Latinovics Színház (theater), and so on... Also, this thread should be kept alive, because we would really like to enjoy all the beauties of Debrecen... Thats almost the only city in Hungary where more or less everything is going well... Anyway! Caps/hats of for You Guys again!  Special thanks to RawLee, for the moderation... I can feel Your style on the previous post!

Nice pics....
BTW near Debrecen in Hajduszoboszlo will be open an Aqua Palace. I found an article saying that next year will be open a new Spa-Aqua Palace next to the today Aqua Park... Anyone has more news and pics of course? |

Hy!
RawLee always said what's important,or worth capturing.I will make (I hope) a lot of pictures about Debrecen, but I haven't camera, so I only can do it with him, so you must wait for the photos(2-3 weeks), or come here and see the city with our own eyes |

Wow, cool series! Bringing back so many memories... (I've been at the Nyari egyetem for 2 weeks a couple of years ago... it was wonderful
That renovated kollegium looks much better though...
