#PROJECT: AL GHADEER

Sorouh unveils Al Ghadeer on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai border

Sorouh Real Estate, Abu Dhabi's leading real estate developer, has unveiled Al Ghadeer, a major new development located at Saih As Sidirah on the Abu Dhabi - Dubai border.

Al Ghadeer, a major new development located at Saih As Sidirah on the Abu Dhabi - Dubai border.

Bringing the concept of 'Easy Living' to life, Sorouh is developing Al Ghadeer as a self sustaining community hosting a variety of educational, recreational, social and commercial amenities.

Al Ghadeer is a mixed use development measuring three million square meters. Designed to make life easy for residents working in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the surrounding major commercial and industrial developments, Al Ghadeer provides affordable luxury housing including apartments, town houses and villas.

Commenting on its strategic location, Mounir D. Haidar, Sorouh Real Estate's CEO said: 'This is a prominent site with tremendous potential due to its accessibility to major highways linking all the commercial centres in the UAE. The site's location at the Abu Dhabi - Dubai border places it in a unique position to meet residential and commercial demand from a broad area including many new industrial developments. While housing and living costs in Dubai continue to rise, Al Ghadeer offers a solution due to its proximity, extensive onsite facilities and competitive pricing.'

Open for registration at Cityscape, Al Ghadeer will offer advanced technological features including WiFi which will cover the entire community. Three schools catering to all ages - one local and two international - as well as four junior schools, all reachable via the pedestrian pathways and covered walkways mean that even the school run is easy at Al Ghadeer. Recreational facilities such as retail outlets and hotels provide entertainment in the area while a host of outdoor sporting facilities cater to lovers of an active lifestyle. Reaching the hotel, cinema, restaurants and cafes is easily achieved via the network of pathways which wind their way through green spaces and shimmering water bodies including a feature lake.

Sorouh's stand will be located at Hall 8 Stand B10 at the Dubai International Convention Center.

I wonder why this project is not on the beach .. it would have been more valuable but anyway since a project has been launched here it means abu dhabi is going ahead with developing the area around the broder with dubai and i am positive a development on the sea will come ...

anyway i think this should launch at around 800 per sq ft to be competitive .. what do you guys think ?

yes you might be right about the beach area on the Abu Dhabi side of the border

Sorouh probably are developing at Al Ghadeer as they 'own' that piece of land

just to get an idea of the project i compared it to the salam city in uaq....here are my observation..
-Both r far from dubai cbd.ghadeer being further away.
-both are leasehold.
-sorouh is government backed...tameer i believe isnt
- salam city has more cbd's nearby...
-both r adjacent to an industrial area.salamcity to sharjah investment centre while ghadeer to dubai industrial city.
-salam city should be the cheaper..lets see
-who has more potential of completing there project on time.sorouh or tameer ?
-ghadeer is near jebel ali airport, salam is near sharjah and dubai airport.
-salam city required lots of earth moving ,ghadeer is on relatively levelled earth.
-ghadeer is nearer to the new dubai developments.

What do u guys think .r these projects comparable?
