Slovenia in 2009: map & table (source)

The busiest road section isn't on the northern Ljubljana bypass any more, but on the eastern bypass (78,500 AADT).

Polish AADT map (2010, forecast from 2004, SISKOM):

It's not so real (eg. A4 westbound from Wrocław had 24k AADT in 2005, not 16k expected in 2010; A2 Łódź-Warszawa: 73k expected in 2012 near Grodzisk, not 20k [source - page 20), but we don't have any better map. 2005 most crowded section: DK8 in Warsaw (Stefan Grot-Rowecki Bridge, over 150k per day). We have now a general traffic measurement (GPR 2010) and its scores will be revealed in 2011.

Highest AADT in Canada is 431,900 along Highway 401. (As of 2006)

Photo of the segment:

This section of highway also gets nearly 505,000 during the summer months (SAWDT).

I can bet it's per week. Traffic is not so great there...

If you look on the traffic census map you will see that the Calafat area AADT is only about 3000 vehicles.

Poland, AADT on national and regional roads in 2010 (it is measured every 5 years and doesn't include roads in big cities)

http://gddkia.gov.pl/userfiles/artic...PR2010_zDW.pdf

The busiest highway is S86 Katowice - Sosnowiec, with over 100k vehicles per day. (I heard that Grota-Roweckiego bridge in Warsaw is busier, but it is not included in this map.)

The A4 near Den Haag (The Hague) is the busiest stretch of road in the Netherlands. The 2012 AADT was 242,000 vehicles per day.

Highest reading for a road in New Zealand is just over 200,000 vpd on Auckland Southern Motorway between Newmarket and Mt Wellington. It's mostly 6-lane with some 8-lane sections. Auckland Harbour Bridge is about 180k vpd

Quite high for a country of only 4.5 million (1.4m of which live in the Auckland Metro Area)

The 200,000 vpd is the 10 lane section between Khyber Pass Rd and Gilles Ave. The Newmarket viaduct is aprox 185,000. The Auckland Harbour Bridge handles around 165,000 if I remember rightly.
Indeed, big numbers for a small country.

Too many Ausfalls (or Ausfälle), there's more data for 2011. It's interesting that AADT for the border crossing Spielfeld on A9 is 16,723 vpd, while Slovenian data show just 14,920 vpd. That's quite a difference. Perhaps because in Austria 331 days were measured while 35 days were just estimated.
